“ Chair 5 as the name suggests is a lovely wooden log cabin with logged furniture comfortable space. If you are travelling from Fairbanks to Anchorage or Fairbanks to Whittier town, Chair 5 would make for the go to comfort food and bar space. The space was fairly empty except for occupied 2-3 covers. Cozy and delicious food served piping hot on a cold snowy winter afternoon. Unfortunately the one attending us wasn't aware of Blackened halibut since it wasn't there on the menu but surprisingly I can see it on Google reviews and dishes to recommend options! French fries are exceptionally good, best I have ever had in my life. Speciality halibut with potatoes and asparagus was okay, would not recommend it for a steep 40 I ordered the Alaska wild game was top notch!!! Grilled Halibut Tacos were bland. Wagyu Beef burger was good. Food teamed up with the local Alaskan beer was a good decision! ”
“ Our land tour guide recommended this place for dinner... we took the public transportation (which by the way was on time!!) we got here, got sited and our lovely waiter Dilly, brought a samples of couple of draft beers before we order ... The food, crab cakes, buffalo chicken wings, (we ate snob about wings) the grilled mushroom hamburger and the blue cheese bacon burger ... EVERYTHING was ON POINT!! Delicious, we didn’t have room for the pizza, but looks like is another specialty! Excellent food excellent service ! Great atmosphere!! ”

My husband ordered nacho platter which did not disappoint very flavorful and filled. My kids loved their chicken tenders with fries both nice and crispy the tenders were not dry. Food is a bit Pom the pricey side. ”
